Supporting Chelsea School

There are many ways that you can support Chelsea School. We rely on financial donations from our families, alumni, friends, and community partners to help us provide the best education possible for our students. Chelsea School is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, which means that all donations to the school are tax deductible.

Capital Campaign

Our Capital Campaign will be launching on October 1, 2025 and is meant to help fund the move of our campus to Laurel, MD in the spring of 2026. Funds will be used for building remodeling, moving costs, and technological upgrades to our school program.

Knight Fund

Chelsea School’s Knight Fund is our central fundraising effort throughout the year. Expenditures include instructional and assistive technology, literacy initiatives, professional development, financial aid for private families, student emergency funds, staff stipends, athletic programming, and a number of other programs.

Wish List

Chelsea School’s Wish List program is designed to allow donors to choose what specific items they would like to purchase for the school or it’s students. Items range from school lunches and field trip fees to laptop computers for teachers.

A gift to Chelsea School in someone’s name can serve as a wonderful tribute or memorial to that person. For information on how this person can be honored, please contact Jeff Green, Director of Finance.

Recurring weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual gift options are available through our Annual Fund. This is a convenient way to ensure that Chelsea School receives regular timely support.

To find out if your company matches donations, check your employee handbook or benefits summary, visit your company’s internal website, or directly contact the Human Resources (HR) or Benefits department. If a matching program exists, they can explain their specific policies and the process for submitting a request, which typically involves making a donation and then submitting a form with your donation receipt to your employer.

Legacy gifts provide a way for you to help ensure the financial future of Chelsea School. By making a bequest in your will, you and your loved ones enjoy the benefits of your assets today, while enjoying the satisfaction of knowing you’ve made a difference for the students of tomorrow.
