Chelsea School is led by our Executive Director, Frank Mills, and by our Head of School, Kristal Weems-Bradner.

Executive Director

With more than 17 years of service to Chelsea School, Mr. Mills has an M.Ed. in special education and has presented at several conferences on the use of technology to better educate children with dyslexia. A long-time English teacher in Chelsea’s Upper Division, Frank served as Head of School, Co-Head of School and Upper Division Principal in recent years, before assuming the role of Executive Director. His industry knowledge, pragmatic business sense, and passion for serving the underserved gives Chelsea School leadership that excites our entire community.

Kristal Weems-Bradner

Head of School

With more than 20 years of service to Chelsea School as an Occupational Therapist, Dean of Students, Co-Head of School, and now Head of School, Mrs. Weems-Bradner has been with Chelsea through its many stages of change and progress. An expert in providing students with the skills to be successful in the classroom, Kristal also brings a wealth of management experience to her role as Head of School. Kind and compassionate, and always ready to break into a smile, Kristal puts the needs of Chelsea’s students at the very top of her priorities.

Board of Governors

The Chelsea Board of Governors is a voluntary board representing a cross-section of interested persons from the community and the population whom we serve.  Meeting monthly with the Head of School, the Board provides expert guidance and governance while contributing both efforts and finances to support the school and its events.
