Chelsea School is looking for certified teachers trained in learning disability methodologies with a background in their content area and a working knowledge of implementing IEP’s.

Teacher Openings: Due to the over whelming success of the Chelsea School program we will be expanding our enrollment next school year. We are looking for both middle and upper division teachers in all content areas as well as related services, support staff, and administrators. We are looking for reading specialists and teachers who are certified or eligible for certification in the following areas: Math, Science, Language Arts, Social Studies, Video & Media Production, Computer Applications and Digital Music. Experience working with students who have language based learning challenges is a real plus. Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree and MSDE certification preferred. If you are forward thinking, understand technology as a teaching and learning tool and want to help change the world one student at a time.

Television/Music Teacher: Chelsea School is expanding its music and TV production program. We have an immediate opening for a television/music production teacher for our new Broadcast Multimedia Center at Chelsea School. We are looking for a teacher who has experience in "real-world" field production environment as well as digital post-production and editing. You must have a minimum of a four-year college degree and is either certified or eligible for teacher certification in the state of Maryland. You must know how to use Final Cut Pro and garage band software at a minimum. Knowledge of Avid, Live and other production software a plus.
